Widely acknowledged as the one of the world’s greatest living string players, legendary violinist Maxim Vengerov will be returning to Dubai on Wednesday 8th March to deliver a special concert at Coca-Cola Arena as part of the 2023 InClassica International Music Festival. First making headlines as a child prodigy, Vengerov studied with Galina Tourchaninova and Zakhar Bron, becoming a solo violinist at the age of five and making his first recording at the age of 10. Since then, he has gone on to win a multitude of international recognitions, including a Grammy Award, two Gramophone Classical Music Awards, a Classic Brit Award, and five Edison Classical Music Awards, as well as being a recipient of the Grammy and Gramophone artist of the year awards, and being recently appointed as Classic FM’s first ever solo Artist-in-Residence. For this concert, he will be joined by the celebrated Russian pianist Roustem Saitkoulov, who has similarly won awards at various international piano competitions over his storied career, including the 2003 Roma Piano Competition and Monte-Carlo Piano Masters.
